AC100 - THE MOST POPULAR CHOICE

Jesmonite AC100 is a water-based acrylic resin ideal for interior decorative pieces. With a 2.5:1 powder to liquid ratio and a wet density of 1.845 g/ml, it's perfect for coasters, trays, planters, and home décor items.

AC84 - STONE EFFECT FINISH

Jesmonite AC84 is designed to achieve a natural stone-like appearance. With a 5:1 mix ratio and wet density of 1.95 g/ml, it's suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

AC300 - ECONOMY ALTERNATIVE

Jesmonite AC300 is similar to AC100 but with lower resin content, making it more cost-effective. It uses the same 2.5:1 ratio and 1.845 g/ml wet density. Ideal for pieces that don't require as much strength. Interior use only.

AC730 - EXTERIOR GRADE

Jesmonite AC730 is a cement-based composite designed for outdoor and architectural applications. With a 5:1 ratio and wet density of 1.95 g/ml, it's durable in all conditions of external weathering.

How do I calculate Jesmonite quantities?+
Fill your mould with water and weigh it in grams. Enter this weight into the calculator above, select your Jesmonite product (AC100, AC84, AC300, or AC730), and the calculator will show you the exact amounts of powder and liquid needed.
What is the mix ratio for Jesmonite AC100?+
Jesmonite AC100 uses a 2.5:1 ratio of powder (base) to liquid by weight. The wet density is 1.845 g/ml. For example, for every 100g of liquid, you need 250g of powder.
How much pigment can I add to Jesmonite?+
You can add Jesmonite pigment up to a maximum of 2% of the total composite weight. For subtle colours, use around 0.5-1%.
What does retarder do in Jesmonite?+
Retarder extends the working time (pot life) of your Jesmonite mix. The standard pot life is 8-15 minutes; with retarder, you can extend this to 25-30 minutes.
How much terrazzo chips can I add to Jesmonite?+
The recommended amount is around 25% of the total composite weight. This gives you a nice, full, even finish. You can adjust this based on personal preference.
How long does Jesmonite take to cure?+
Demould times vary by product: AC100 and AC300 can be demoulded in 30 minutes to 2 hours, AC84 in about 2 hours, and AC730 in 4-6 hours. Full cure is 24-48 hours.
